    • Phone Number – used for OTP-based login and account verification
    • Location Data – used to show nearby profiles and improve matchmaking
    • Photos – uploaded by users for profile creation
    • Messages – exchanged between matched users
    • App Activity – swipes, matches, and interactions
    • Subscription Information – handled securely via Google Play Billing
  2. How We Use Your Information
    We use your data to:
    • Create and manage user accounts
    • Provide matchmaking and chat features
    • Show nearby profiles
    • Improve app functionality and user experience
    • Process subscriptions and premium features
  3. Data Sharing

    Wedoo does not sell or rent user data. Data is not shared with third parties except:

    • When required by law
    • With service providers strictly necessary to operate the app (e.g., Google Play Billing)
  4. Data Security

    All user data is transmitted securely using encryption (HTTPS). We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

  5. User Controls & Account Deletion
    Users can request deletion of their account and associated data:
    • Use the Delete Account option in the app
    • Or email us at support@thewedoo.com from your registered phone number
    • Deleted data includes:
      1. Profile information
      2. Photos
      3. Messages
      4. Matches

    Certain transaction records may be retained if required by law.

  6. Pause Account Feature

    Wedoo provides a Pause Account feature that allows users to temporarily disable their profile without deleting their account.

    When a user pauses their account:
    • Their profile will not be visible to other users
    • They will not appear in nearby searches or recommendations
    • Other users will not be able to discover or match with them
    • Existing chat history and account data remain secure

    Paused accounts can be re-activated at any time from within the app.

    No personal data is deleted while an account is paused.

  7. Age Restriction

    Wedoo is strictly intended for users 18 years and older. Users under 18 are not permitted to use the app.

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
